5 PILLARS OF ISLAM

 

There are 6 pillars of eeman. They form the foundation of faith. A house without a proper foundation will collapse. In the same way, Islaam without true belief in the pillars of faith will collapse it. The pillars of faith are:

BELIEF IN ALLAAH: This is to believe in the essence of Allaah, in His Oneness and that He has no partner, to believe in His attributes, and that He alone deserves to be worshipped. 

BELIEF IN ANGELS: A Muslim must believe that angels exist and that they are Allaah creatures. They are not His sons and not His daughters. They were created from light. They do all that they are commanded without ever disobeying Allaah! They never become tired or bored in worshipping their Lord.

BELIEF IN THE BOOKS: A Muslim must believe that angels exist and that they are Allaah creatures. They are not His sons and not His daughters. They were created from light. BELIEF IN THE MESSENGERS: Messengers of Allaah are special group of prophets. The first was Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him) and the last was Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

BELIEF IN THE LAST DAY: To believe in the Day of Judgment and that the people will be called to account for what they did in this life.

BELIEF IN DESTINY: It is important to believe that all things which occur, either good or whatever you consider evil, is by the Divine decree i.e. Allaah decree. Nothing happens except by His will.
